Tell us about you dental career?

 

I qualified from Dundee University in 2006 and began my career working in a busy practice in the city centre practice , where I gained valuable experience across all area of general dentistry.

In 2025, I took a major step forward in my career by taking over windmill dental care. Becoming  the principal dentist and owner has allowed me to shape the practice around my core values patient care, trust, and personalised approach to dentistry. Its been exciting new chapter and one I'm incredibly proud of.​​

 

Do you focus on any aspects of dentistry?

My main focus is always patients care. I believe its essential for every dentist to listen carefully and truly understand their patients needs and concerns before, during and after treatment. building trust and making patients feel comfortable is just as important as clinical work. 

Alongside general dentistry, I have a real passion for cosmetic treatment such as composite bonding and Invisalign, helping patients achieve a confident, natural looking smile. I'm also trained to provide anti- wrinkle treatments, offering a subtle and professional approach to facial aesthetics.

What do you do away from work?

​

Outside of dentistry, I'm a proud dad to two amazing kids and husband. Family life keeps me busy and grounded but I still make time for the things I love. I enjoy outdoor activities like running, kayaking, and paddle boarding and when I get a quiet moment, I like to unwind with video games.
